Hi! and welcome to my Home Page
About me, I was born in Sydney, Australia, where I grew up. Since leaving Sydney, I’ve lived in almost every state of this country. The only exception is Tasmania, but I have visited there a number of times. Currently, I live in Queensland, in a small community near Toowoomba, on the Great Dividing Range.
I share my home with a multitude of birds, all wild and all beautiful. There are still platypus in the creek but they are shy and don’t show themselves too readily. Possums, sugar-gliders, tawny frogmouths, wallabies, the occasional koala … they are all still to be found here, although numbers are dwindling due to the increasing population and also to the drought we are currently experiencing.
The people here are friendly, and I joined a book club soon after arriving so I get to share my love of books and reading with some lovely people.
In short, it’s a wonderful place to live and write.

Tips for writers
Most writers have more ideas than they can use in their stories in a lifetime of writing. Where do these ideas come from?
Unfortunately, there’s no magic formula that allows a writer to pluck ideas from thin air, but there are ways to attract these ideas.
Writers observe their surroundings and are constantly taking notes. After a time, this becomes instinctive, something writers do without being consciously aware of it.
